Established in 2022, The Department of International Relations (IR) at Government College University Lahore delves into the complexity of international affairs through interdisciplinary approach; creating an understanding about the dynamic interactions between the states. With the focus on diplomacy, conflict resolution and global governance, we prepare our students to be the best among the future diplomats. Our esteemed faculty members stimulate critical thinking and deep understanding in the young minds of the aspiring students. Dress-code
The dress code for our department maintains a professional yet flexible standard, reflecting the diverse nature of
international relations. Business casual attire is encouraged for classes, meetings, and events, allowing for
individual expression while promoting a respectful and polished appearance.
Uniform
The department has developed a formal uniform, for all students, for special events such as conferences, seminars
and high-profile guest lectures etc. This not only reflects the significance of the occasion but also stimulates the
significance of maintaining a cohesive and professional appearance. This includes a navy-blue suit with GCU Lahore
tie on white shirt.
Society
The departmental society, “Ravians Diplomacy Society”, grants a great deal in the aspect of engaging and informing
students of GCU Lahore about the international affairs.
